This micro-workshop will introduce participants to basic video filming skills using a phone/tablet and go through the basic functionality of Shotcut which is a video editing software.
🧩 Things to know before
- 2.5 hrs
- Online / Offline (*not include travel costs)
- Booking in advance at Tsunagaru Learning Hub, located at [Q] JR Hakata Station, video (how to find us)
- Remote simultaneous interpretation 🇬🇧 🇯🇵
- Bring your own laptop – Before training, you’ll get invitation to access to Google Classroom (Tsunagaru Academy Virtual Platform)
- On site micro-workshop needs an acrylic blackboard, wifi connectivity, pens to do simple drafts/demos/structure
🧩 Get skills on how to
- Participants will develop their understanding on the different ways the use of video’s can be used in teaching and learning through the production of educational videos.
- Practical skills covered will include importing media, editing frames on the timeline, importing title, PowerPoint and end slides, performing basic audio adjustments, and exporting your project.
- Understand how the use of video production can be used to support teaching and learning
- Basic video filming skills using a phone/tablet
- Importing and organising media using Shotcut
- Include basic editing, narration such as trimming frames, performing basic audio adjustments, adding effects, simple title design and exporting a project.
